Your Superpower
Okay, this is pretty serious (unlike some of my other posts). I've been doing a survey for about a year now on superpowers. The question is simple: If you could choose a superpower, what would you choose and why?
As for me, there are two answers. First, if the superpower has nothing to do with being useful, then I'd pick the power to fly. Flying is cool but isn't the most useful power. At least that's how I see it. I'd be able to get back and forth to work without the hassles of traffic, but I wouldn't assume that flying by itself would also imply super strength or super speed.
Second, if I were trying to come up with a more useful power, I would choose telekenisis. The ability to move stuff with my mind would be pretty useful in general I think. Assuming there are no weight limits (as we were taught by Yoda), then telekenisis would be both cool and useful. You could even make a case for telekenisis as a method for flying, but I'm not sure about that.
Okay, so that's your assignment. Respond in the comments section of this article and tell me what and why.

My top two are the ability to create anything by thinking of it (somewhat like the replicator concept), and teleporting (sp?).

There are so many...
I suppose I'd want the ability to solve anything. Problems, illnesses, war, ending the aging process...
The downside? No more challenges, but I'd just have to live with that.
The only thing I would be unable to do would be to find something challenging.

I am not really sure if this counts or not... but this is my secret wish for a super power --
The power to heal people. Help lame folks walk. Help sick people get healthy. Help folks who are scared of something get over their fear. Help blind people see. etc.

The kids that I hang out with (nieces, nephews, grandkids) have had this very conversation many times.
We all pick flying as a basic superpower, and of course, invisibility.
Then we all either choose one for ourselves, or the others tell us what ours is. My niece Maegan has the superpower of confusion. Everytime we can't figure something out or are lost we tell Maegan to get control of her superpower. It's very cute when she apologizes.
They have all decided that my superpower is Love. The cool thing about having the superpower of Love is that you then have control over every one's superpowers. We all will do anything for Love.
I can be brought to tears by these kids pretty easily and that did it for me that time.
