Where are you?
Some of you may have already seen it, but there's a new section in the right-hand column (on the main page) of my blog called Local Promotions. If you happen to live in Utah or Arizona you'll see a personalized message. Utah visitors get a coupon. Arizonans will soon see a coupon there too. They are for local items, so it doesn't make sense to show them for everyone.
I think geo-targeting is pretty cool. Yes, I'm a geek.
I'm expanding GeoTrackr in the future so others can use this feature as well, but for now I haven't released it publicly.

I'm not sure why, but your blog seems to think I am in San Francisco CA.
I am actually right down the street from you in Mesa AZ.

I should point out that some large ISPs may report addresses that are wrong. AOL users may not show up in the right place.
Hopefully this services improves over time!

hmmm - stranger and stranger - when I access your blog from my home computer in Mesa - I show up as in Mesa.
It's only when I access from work in Scottsdale that this feature thinks I am in San Francisco.
That might be because I am on my corporate network and our corporate offices are in San Francisco - ya think?
