Continuing the Theme

And since I'm all about the music today...

Did you see American Idol last night? It started off a bit rough. The first four women didn't quite do the job, but the last four (the last two specifically) did great. Mandisa did an incredible job and obviously had a lot of fun. Kellie was just ... well, Kellie. You've gotta love that. And I just really like Katherine.

Like I said before, it's not rocket science, so here are my predictions: Kinnik and Melissa are going home this week.

Wow our predictions are different! Go check mine out!

Well, I don't think we're down to the difficult eliminations yet which will make predictions a little harder. Rather than predict this week's eliminations I'll cut to the chase. Here are who I think the top contenders are:

Males: Chris & Elliott
(I think Ace and Taylor will be two of the last of the guys to go to get to these two.)

Females: Kellie & ? (see more below)

I think if it goes down to a male/female finalist duo it will be Chris and Kellie and I think Chris has the edge. Every other contender has great points but they're too specific to hold enough votes and they'll split the remaining votes resulting in their elimination. This is the exact reason that at this point I can't chose between the remaining females. I think each of the ones beyond Kellie will be GREATLY impacted by their weekly performances. I think overall Mandisa has the edge but one bad night could be deadly for her.

I agree with the female choices for this week's elimination. I think Alya will hold on for one more week but I think Melissa and Kinnik are going home.
