Comments on The Agency Delta
Without getting ahead of myself, I have received some exciting news about the possibility of publishing my first fiction book, The Agency Delta. Last week I was introduced to a literary agent through a mutual friend. I am definitely holding my breath.
I would like to ask you, if you're reading my book online, please comment on this post. It's easy (just click the comments link below) and it would very much help me out at this point. If you are reading or have read my book, please just give me a quick shout with your thoughts. It doesn't have to be a long comment, just a comment.
Thanks!
PS.: I just uploaded Chapter 42 of my book for those of you who are reading it.

You already know I'm your #1 fan, but I really liked the book. I probably got more than most out of it because I know so much more about the inspirations behind your characters and writing, but even without that it's a great story! My only complaint was having to read it as you wrote it making long pauses between the next chapter. ;o) I loved that I could so easily visualize everything as I read - like watching the movie in my head. Here's hoping one day we'll get to see it on the big screen and I can see if it matches anything I had in my head.
Hugs,
Holly

Before reading The Agency Delta I had just finished reading Dan Brown's books (one of my favorite authors), I found Blake's book to be just as compelling. Even better the books concept is the most exciting and refreshing I have come across. Blake did a great job of keeping the story and characters in the spot light rather than the technology, which was no small feat, considering how engaging the technology is. My mind was constantly racing around thinking of scenarios and the possibilities The Agency Delta brings up. Not only do I expect this to be the first of many exciting books by Blake, but I'm already looking forward to the movie.

I absolutely loved the book!! (I can already see this story made into a movie.) The short chapters and sections kept the pace of the book constantly moving forward and I found myself reading until the wee hours of the morning, anxious to learn what happened next. I also felt that the characters were very believable and the details about the different geographical areas, food, culture, etc. were very interesting. And the unexpected twists and turns of the plot kept me hooked. Definitely one of the most engaging books I've read in a long, long time!! Congratulations on writing a fantastic book! I can't wait to see it in bookstores across the country so I can purchase my very own copy.
Best wishes,
Margo Edgeworth

I followed, read, commented, savored and enjoyed Blake's book (venture, adventure) as he wrote it. Its twist using technology (lost IP packets -- I won't say more so I don't spoil) really made me sit back and say "WOW! That's cool and unique."
I started reading this in parallel to Dan Brown's Book - The Da Vinci Code, which Blake also introduced me to. I told him then, and I'll say it again here, that Da Vinci Code was great (thanks again, Blake) and Blake's book was just as good. Good job, Blake.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey W. Cox

I loved the book! It held my interest and I didn't want to put it down. It is one of those that when you start reading you have to finish! It has turns and twists that keep you guessing. As with any good book I had visuals in my mind about people, places and things. Thanks Blake!

I totally LOVED the Agency Delta!!! Like Holly, I could totally see the story played out in my head! I read the book while at work and I would find myself totally involved in the book rather than doing any work at all! I could not wait to get to work every day and read more! I had a few friends read the book and we cannot wait for Blake to start writing his next book. Great Job Blake!!!

I read this a few months back just after he finished it. I feel lucky to have read it in such an early stage. Reading a book that you feel will be a #1 seller is a lot of fun. I love technological and governmental plots and this book has it all. It had loop holes, secrets, gadgets and high suspense all peaked to perfection all the way through it. from the first page I watched it in my mind like a movie as I read each page. Very, very discriptive to help the reader be inside the story and to feel like we could reach out and touch the characters and that they are real and live amongst us. Not many books make you feel like characters are real, but this one did. All the small details helps enhance the readers senses when taking part in this book. I could almost smell the food in the market or hear people on the streets and interactions of people in a professional setting or casual hang out. It makes me wonder what Blake did for his research!lol I work in a IT helpdesk and all I did for 3 strate days was read this in between calls. I was so into this book that people would come up behind me and say my name and I wouldn't hear them. They would have to get louder and louder and finally get in my view just to get my attention. I was glued to my monitor reading it. I remember bursting out laughing at a part and everyone started laughing at me b/c I was "going crazy" reading this book. During the whole book I could envision different actors and actresses playing the parts of the characters. From the beginning this book was made to become a best seller and also become a top rated movie. Hand this over to Spielburg and sit back and watch b/c this book is amazing!

This book has me spellbound. I looked at it just because there was a posting at SACTM, but now I want it. I am disappointed that only 42 chapters are available. Stop posting the chapters here at once and just publish the book. It is too good to be read for free. With talent like yours we should pay you for it. That book would make an excellent movie. I would pay top dollar to see it. If the deal fails, go to LULU.com. You can publish it youself. I would buy it.

I am really enjoying reading the book! I read the first 42 chapters in one sitting and I'm hanging onto the edge of my seat, waiting for each new chapter. Keep it up, Blake! I'm definitely telling people about it!
Also, I just LOVE your short stories! It is so much fun to see the town and years of my schooling through someone else's eyes! Bacon and Grape Nuts, huh? Who Knew?! ;-) I hope you write some more!
