It Really Is That Easy!
As I am constantly in a mindset of self improvement, I regularly evaluate my skills to see where I am lacking. Often I realize that there are many things that I could be doing if only I had a simple, bulleted list of steps that would lead me through the process of acquiring those new skills. Fortunately there is eHow and their wiki site, wikiHow.
Recently I found this gem: How to Survive a Freestyle Rap Battle which is not only an enlightening guide on how to acquire the skill but also a motivational piece that excites one to consider professional rap battling as a career.
But this is not all! Thanks to the power of the Internet there is finally a forum to manage the vastness of human knowledge and individual experience. Consider the following:
- How to Be a Human Beatbox
- How to Throw a Halloween Party for Teens
- How to Buy Star Trek Collectibles
- How to Choose Dental Floss
- How to Watch Street Luge
I think what excites me the most is that I can choose to acquire a new skill that ranges in complexity from something as simple as watching a sport to something as complex as reorganizing a company. That way, if I'm having a rough day and just need a pick-me-up new skill, I can lean toward the simpler things. When I'm feeling aggressive, I can pick something a little more challenging.
I'd love to hear your success stories!

Well, if there's one thing we've all learned recently it's how important "skills" are. Girls only like guys with skills. ;o)

Whenever I start thinking about how to improve myself I initially think about how to perform a hostile take over of Hormel, so I can finally rid myself of all the Spam I receive each day.
But then I start to think beyond that, like what if I could morph my legs in to grasshopper legs? Or wouldn’t it be neat if I had a third brain, that way I’d always be able to come up with a third alternative to everything? Yeah, that would be neat.
Wait! If we all had grasshopper legs, would we play leapfrog? And if so would the frogs sue us for copyright infringement? And wouldn’t we kind of look silly with our feet turned backwards? How would we sit in our chairs?
So after due consideration I think self improvement is only for people who already have grasshopper legs, but if there are still a few of you regular people who want to improve themselves I am available to tell you how to do it.
